Thank you so much for all your help before, during and after the book fair. The fair was a huge success this year, we made over $14,000 our highest sales ever, and we couldn't have done it without all of you.

Here are some of the highlights from the fair:
• Our profits were approximately $8,900; with that money the PTO purchased 258 books from the titles remaining on the teacher's classroom wishlists. The remainder of the money will be used to purchase other scholastic items that the teachers have requested.
• Parents purchased 164 books for the classrooms. (so there are currently 422 new books at Vinal for all of the children to enjoy!)
• We also raised $288 through the One for Books program. Scholastic will match every dollar with a book and donate 288 books to children in need. With the money raised, we purchased scholastic books that will be donated to South Shore Hospitals Family Resource Room.
