Your PTO has been doing a lot of planning to come up with a school year full of interesting new ideas and old favorites. We have a mix of fundraisers, to pay for all the extras PTO activity affords our children and teachers, as well as a number of “funraisers” to encourage community building within our school. • September 18, 2009 is the deadline to submit your information or to place an ad in the Vinal School Directory. Order extra copies or a Cole School directory as well. Forms for submission are on the Vinal PTO website.
• September 26, 2009 is our first Sports and Costume Swap fundraiser. Donate your gently used sports equipment and costumes and buy new stuff. Sale will be at the Sparrell School from 9am til Noon. To donate or volunteer contact Sarah Jane Baker at sarahjanebaker@yahoo.com or 781-826-8475.
• October 2, 2009 is the date for Arts Alive, a day long celebration of the arts capped off by an art show for families that night. For more information contact Jackie Bruno at mcbruno@comcast.net.
• October 17 and 24, 2009 is the major fundraiser for the year. This year the event is called A Night On Our Town and is dinners, cocktail parties or other events hosted at homes around Norwell. For more information contact Cheryl Goodnow at cgoodnow@gmail.com.
• October 1-19, 2009 is the annual Sally Foster gift wrap sale chaired by Betsy Hilsinger. Contact her at teamhilsinger@comcast.net.

• May 8, 2010 is Furfest Pet Show, a NEW family fun event to be held on the Sparrell School lawn. The event will be chaired by Dr. Nick Warendorf of Old Derby Animal Hospital and Terry Haskins of The Dog Butler.
